Week#2: The first day for me of volunteering

Subject: First Day of volunteering project

Date: Sunday 18^th October 2015

Time: 8:00am – 12:00pm

Location: Zayed Higher Organization

In the first week of volunteerism in Zayed Higher Organization, I came at 7:50 AM and I waited until all group members arrive.  At 8:30 AM when khalisa arrived we met two female supervisors t to give us tours for the workshops. After being separated for two groups , me and saleh we chose Carpentry workshop from the three other workshops.

1- The first workshop is electricity workshop:

2-      The second workshop is metalwork:

3-      The third workshop is printing :

4-      The last workshop in Zayed Higher Organization is carpentry workshop. In this workshop workers made geometric forms and furniture:

Today it was good we had fun with students with disabilities , also we learned a lot of stuff such as cutting the wood and clean it to do some professional forms and shapes. Also we were able to find out way to communicate with this group. And we had to talk with some of the students with disabilities to see their works performed by. They have good talent and the disability does not prevent or stopping you of doing whats do you like.

And this is one of wonderful student work :

it's look like a 3D picture, they made it by a normal wood with a glue only ( something great ) ^_^
